What Is Carronite?

Carronite is Carron’s patented triple-layer reinforcement system for acrylic baths. Additional reinforcing layers and a fitted baseboard make the bath stronger, heavier and more rigid than a standard acrylic model.

The reinforcement also improves heat retention, helping bathwater stay warmer for longer. A dedicated support system accommodates the additional weight and contributes to the bath’s stable feel.

Use the Front Panel and End Panel selectors to choose Not Required or include the matching Carronite panel.

The front panel follows the bath’s tapered profile. An end panel is only needed where the short end of the bath is exposed.
