Infrared Curved Sensor Basin Tap – Chrome
Description
Create a cleaner, more hygienic washroom with the Infrared Curved Sensor Basin Tap, a modern hands-free tap designed especially for commercial and high-use environments.
Featuring infrared sensor activation, the tap automatically detects when hands are placed within the sensing area, delivering water without the need to touch a handle or control. With a rapid 0.3-second response time and an adjustable sensing distance of 6–24cm, it provides convenient and hygienic operation for public washrooms, offices, schools, healthcare settings, hospitality venues and other commercial installations.
Manufactured with a durable brass body and finished in polished chrome, the tap incorporates an integrated spout sensor together with an anti-splash, flow-restricting aerator. It operates between 1.5 and 6.0 bar and is suitable for cold or premixed water.
For flexible installation, the tap can be powered by 4 x AA batteries, mains power, or mains power with battery backup. Battery life can be up to approximately two years depending on usage.
Please note: a blending valve and basin waste are not included and should be purchased separately where required. The Claygate product listing specifically identifies this model as excluding the blending valve, while the manufacturer's datasheet confirms that the waste is excluded.
